Ed Georges and Joel Shapiro are partners and co-founders of SourceOne Communications. Both have extensive backgrounds in the printing industry. Both have Bachelor of Science degrees in Graphic Communications – Printing Management from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

Ed and Joel each had eight years printing management experience when they teamed up to found Georges & Shapiro Lithograph in 1983. During the 14 years that they owned and operated the company before selling it to a national company, they earned a reputation for excellence in quality and service among both their clients and peers.

Joel Shapiro

Joel served 12 years on the Executive Board of Directors for the Printing Industries of Northern California as well as chairing its Industry Promotion Committee. He has also served as a committee member on Industry Research committees for Printing Industries of America.

Ed Georges

Ed has extensive experience in estimating, project and plant management as well as cost accounting. He has served as the Northern California representative to Printing Industries of California and is a combat disabled Vietnam veteran.
